BM8 Review 2026: Licence, Bonus Terms & Safety Check
BM8 (Malaysia, MYR) checked 31 Oct 2026: StakeGO and Pretty Gaming, 29x bonus, PAGCOR claim not found on the register. Score 3.9/10.

In this article
Verdict: BM8 carries StakeGO (Yeebet) and Pretty Gaming live tables and describes real limit and self-exclusion tools, but its PAGCOR licence claim is for a “Gaming Support Provider” and does not appear on the PAGCOR pages we checked, its welcome bonus needs 29x turnover on deposit plus bonus, and it publishes no withdrawal times. HotStakes Score: 3.9/10.
BM8 is an online casino and sportsbook for Malaysian ringgit (MYR) players at bm8my.vip, with live casino, slots, sports, esports, fishing and lottery. We read its public pages, promotion terms, licence page, Terms and Responsible Gaming page on 31 October 2026, checked its licence claim against the regulator’s own website, and searched for complaints in English and Malay. HotStakes did not open an account, deposit, withdraw or contact support. Gambling laws differ by country. In Malaysia, police have charged thousands of people with online gambling offences (FMT), so check your own local law first.
Quick verdict
Score: 3.9 / 10
Licence checked: Claimed but not found on the register (PAGCOR, checked 31 Oct 2026)
Best for: trying StakeGO or Pretty Gaming live tables with small stakes, without a bonus, if gambling is legal where you live
What we checked (31 Oct 2026)
- The public home page of bm8my.vip, its footer and payment logos
- The License, Terms & Conditions, Responsible Gaming, FAQ and Help Center pages
- The public Live Casino and Slots provider lobbies (no login)

How we tested: public pages and lobby check only. HotStakes made no deposit or withdrawal at BM8 for this review.
Not done, by design: no account, no deposit, no withdrawal, no chat with support. Anything about payments below is what BM8 states, not a test result. How we review operators.

HotStakes Score: 3.9 / 10
Every review uses the same fixed checklist. The full method is on How we review operators.
| Area | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Licence verified | 0.2 / 2 | Claims a PAGCOR “Gaming Support Provider” accreditation; not found on PAGCOR pages we checked, and that type does not cover running games for players |
| Safety & reputation | 0.9 / 2 | No complaints or regulator warnings found naming BM8; not on PAGCOR’s reported-websites notice; company only named on the licence page |
| Bonus fairness | 0.5 / 1.5 | Clear terms, but 29x on deposit plus bonus is heavy; no max bet or max cashout stated |
| Payments transparency | 0.3 / 1 | Payment logos shown; no public limits, fees or withdrawal times |
| Responsible-gambling tools | 0.6 / 1 | RG page describes deposit, loss and session limits, reality checks and self-exclusion from 24 hours to permanent (not tested) |

Licence: claimed but not found on the register
BM8’s License page (seen 31 Oct 2026) shows an “Official PAGCOR License”: licence number OSP25-0315-1-C, issued to BM8 ASIA GROUP LIMITED, type “Gaming Support Provider”, effective 17 February 2017, with an address at Burgundy Corporate Tower, Makati City, Philippines. The page says players can “check the status of our license on the official PAGCOR website”, but gives no link.
We checked PAGCOR’s regulatory pages, including the Electronic Gaming Licensing and Remote Operations and Ancillary Services sections, on 31 Oct 2026. We found no list naming BM8, BM8 ASIA GROUP LIMITED or licence OSP25-0315-1-C. Three things make the claim weak for players:
- A gaming support provider accreditation is for companies that support licensed operators. It is not a licence to offer casino games to players.
- PAGCOR began revoking the remaining offshore gaming (POGO) licences on 15 December 2024 under the Philippine ban (Philstar).
- The licence number starts “OSP25”, but the page says it took effect in 2017. We could not explain this.
On the positive side, BM8 and bm8my.vip were not on PAGCOR’s notice of reported websites using its logo without permission, which we read in full on 31 Oct 2026.
Result: Claimed but not found on the register. Read how to spot an unlicensed online casino.

Our games: StakeGO and Pretty Gaming
- StakeGO (Yeebet): a “Yeebet” tile is in the Live Casino lobby (seen 31 Oct 2026). Try StakeGO tables on our BM8 operator page first.
- Pretty Gaming: a “Pretty Gaming” tile is in the same lobby (seen 31 Oct 2026).
- Hotdog Gaming: not seen in the Slots lobby on the day.
- Other live casino studios we saw: Evolution, Dream Gaming, Playtech, SA Gaming, MT Live, ON Casino, WM Casino, Allbet and Microgaming Live.
- Slot studios we saw: more than 30, including Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Hacksaw, Relax Gaming, Habanero, JILI, JDB, CQ9, Fachai, NextSpin, Joker, Live22, Mega888, 918Kiss and Pussy888.
- Sports: tiles for Maxbet, SBOBET, CMD368, M9Bet and Wickets.
We did not open individual games, as that needs a login.
Bonuses and the real terms
The Promotions page listed 12 offers on 31 Oct 2026, including a Welcome Bonus 130%, a “Jackpot Starter Bonus 299%”, a separate welcome bonus for Mega888, 918Kiss and Pussy888, a daily deposit bonus up to 30%, instant rebate, a check-in bonus, a crypto bonus, a “rescue” bonus, referral and birthday bonuses. We read the full terms of the main welcome offer.
Welcome Bonus 130% (seen 31 Oct 2026, in English):
- 130% on the first deposit; minimum deposit RM30; maximum bonus RM230.
- Turnover 29x on deposit plus bonus before you can transfer or withdraw. BM8’s own example: RM100 deposit + RM130 bonus = RM6,670 of bets. (The example table is labelled “Bonus (299%)”, which looks like a typing error.)
- Valid for 30 days. Winnings from bonus money are removed if turnover is not met in time.
- Not counted: Allbet, fishing games, 918Kiss, Mega888 and Pussy888; non-live table games, non-slot games and arcade games; void, tied or both-sides bets; sports bets at odds below 1.75 (Euro) or 0.75 (Asian).
- One per person, household, IP, email, phone, card or e-wallet. Cannot be claimed from IP addresses outside Singapore or Malaysia. Cannot be combined with other promotions.
- BM8 may change or cancel the offer at any time and is “the sole arbiter”.
- Not stated: maximum bet while wagering and maximum cashout.
Worked example (HotStakes wagering calculator)
Deposit RM100 and get the 130% bonus of RM130. With 29x on deposit plus bonus, our wagering calculator shows you must bet RM6,670. On a slot with 96% RTP, the expected loss while wagering is about RM266.80, so the bonus is worth about -RM136.80 on average. In plain words: the bonus costs more than it gives you, on average. These are long-run averages, not predictions. Compare games with our RTP calculator, and read why game contribution changes the real turnover.

Payments (as stated by BM8, not tested)
- Methods: the footer shows logos for DuitNow, FPX, Touch ‘n Go, GrabPay, Boost, Visa, Mastercard and USDT (seen 31 Oct 2026).
- Minimums: RM30 deposit for the welcome bonus. A general minimum is not published on public pages.
- Withdrawal times, limits and fees: not published. The Terms say BM8 may set minimum and maximum limits, delay withdrawals for security checks and charge “reasonable processing fees” that “will be clearly displayed”.
- KYC: the Terms say BM8 may ask you to verify your identity and financial information before a withdrawal, especially for large amounts, and may check the source of your funds.
- Where you are paid: to the same method used to deposit, where possible.
Crypto deposits cannot be charged back. Read our USDT casino deposit risks checklist before you pay with crypto.

Safety and reputation
- Player complaints: our searches on 31 Oct 2026 in English (“BM8 scam”, “BM8 withdrawal problem”) and Malay (“tipu”, “tak bayar”, “withdraw tak masuk”) found no reports naming BM8. Most results were about BK8, a different brand. No complaints is not the same as a proven record.
- Regulator warnings: none found naming BM8. BM8 was not on PAGCOR’s notice of reported websites (31 Oct 2026).
- Who runs it: the licence page names BM8 ASIA GROUP LIMITED with a Makati address. The Terms name no company and say only that they follow “the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where we are licensed”.
- Marketing claims: the site calls itself a “Trusted Online Casino Malaysia Since 2017” and “Meta Certified”. HotStakes could not verify either claim.
We found no complaints and no regulator action, so we did not issue a scam alert. But with a licence claim we could not confirm and no published withdrawal times, a player would have little to rely on in a dispute. If you have had a problem with BM8, tell us in Scam Watch and read our complaint guide.
Responsible gambling
- RG page: present, with a self-assessment, warning signs and tips (31 Oct 2026).
- Tools described: daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits; session time limits; loss limits; reality checks; self-exclusion “from 24 hours to permanently”. We could not test these, as they need an account.
- Age: the Terms say the site is for users aged at least 18, or the legal age where you live if higher.
If gambling stops being fun, read how to deal with the urge to gamble.
Site and mobile
- Languages and currency: English and Malay; Malaysian ringgit.
- Mobile: the page is set up for phone screens. We did not complete a full 390px phone test.
- KYC: no general document list published; see Payments above.
- Support (listed, not tested): 24/7 live chat, WhatsApp, WeChat (Chinese), Telegram and email, per the Help Center.
Pros and cons
Pros
- StakeGO (Yeebet) and Pretty Gaming live tables
- Large range of live, slot and sports providers
- Clear, written welcome bonus terms with expiry and excluded games
- RG page describes deposit, loss and time limits and self-exclusion
- No complaints or regulator warnings found naming BM8
Cons
- PAGCOR licence claim not found on PAGCOR’s site, and the type shown does not cover player-facing gaming
- Welcome bonus needs 29x on deposit plus bonus: about -RM137 expected value on RM100
- No public withdrawal times, limits or fees
- Terms name no company or governing country
- No Hotdog Gaming slots seen
Who it suits, and who should avoid it
May suit: adult MYR players, where gambling is legal for them, who want StakeGO or Pretty Gaming live tables, play without a bonus, keep stakes small and set a deposit limit first. Free demos on HotStakes are a safer first step.
Should avoid: anyone who needs a licence they can check, anyone planning large deposits, bonus hunters (the maths works against you), and anyone where online gambling is illegal, including Malaysia under current law.
