What we checked (31 Oct 2026). Nova88 is a long-running sportsbook and casino brand that HotStakes lists for Malaysian players. We checked the domain our listing sends players to, www.bolamaxwin88.com: the licence seal and the regulator’s register, the public game lobby, complaint sites, the public terms, the domain record and the payment methods shown.
What we found. The terms name Monarch Innovative Labs Limited and a Tobique Gaming Commission licence (no. 0000026). The company is on the regulator’s licence-holder list, which is a good sign. The problem is the domain: the seal on bolamaxwin88.com opens the regulator’s own validator, and on 31 Oct 2026 it said the service is “NOT licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission”. A licence covers only the exact domains on the register, so this domain scores 0 for licence until the regulator’s page shows it as valid. The lobby carries real studio names with correct RTP labels, but demo play needs an account, so we could not inspect the game frames. Complaints are few: Casino Guru lists one unresolved case, and two Trustpilot reviewers describe accounts being suspended and money not returned. The terms allow the operator to forfeit inactive balances and close accounts “without cause”. The domain itself is only about seven months old and is registered to a different company in Taiwan.
What readers should do. Score 37/100: avoid for now. If you already play on Nova88, use a Nova88 domain whose seal opens validate.thetgc.ca and shows “valid” for that exact domain, keep deposits small, and complete verification before you need to withdraw.
