What we checked (30 Oct 2026). We read the public pages of me88.com, its Malaysian site me88myelite.com and its Singapore site me88journey.com, searched the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s licence and enforcement registers and the Anjouan validator, read the Trustpilot and Casino Guru complaint pages, checked the Bank Negara Malaysia and SC Malaysia alert lists, and looked up the domain’s WHOIS record. We did not register, deposit, withdraw or contact support.
What we found. me88’s footer still cites a Curaçao sub-licence number (365/JAZ) from a system Curaçao has phased out. The Curaçao register has no entry for me88, and the only licensee linked to it by a third party (Brictec B.V.) is listed as revoked since July 2026. me88 itself names no company and no address, and its sites make different licence claims (Curaçao, Anjouan seal, MGA via a parent company). Games could not be inspected without an account. We found three reports of winnings withheld or accounts closed at withdrawal (RM5,000 in Sep 2026, USD 3,975 in Jul 2026, USD 4,000 in Dec 2023) with no reply from the operator; they are user reviews and are not independently verified. Bonus terms are only shown after login, and Casino Guru flags confiscation clauses. Deposits run through bank-transfer gateways and crypto.
What readers should do. Score 33/100 means “avoid” under our formula. We did not mark me88 as “scam” because we found no pay-a-fee-to-withdraw demand and the non-payment reports are not independently documented. If you have money at me88, withdraw in small amounts and keep screenshots of the cashier and chat. If me88 has not paid you, report it through Casino Check with dates and amounts so we can update this page. Online gambling is illegal in Malaysia under current law; check your own local rules first.
Right of reply. The operator is welcome to reply through hotstakes.io/list-your-brand/ with a licence number and company name that can be checked on a regulator’s register; we will add any reply here, re-check fairly and fix proven mistakes the same day.

|---|---|---|
| Licence | 0/20 | me88.com's footer says it is licensed by Curaçao under 'Master License of Gaming Services Provider N.V. #365/JAZ' (the old sub-licence system Curaçao has phased out) and shows an Anjouan seal; the Singapore mirror also claims an MGA licence via a 'parent company MaxEnt'. The Curaçao Gaming Authority's online-gaming register (20 Oct 2026) has no entry for me88 or 365/JAZ; the only licensee linked to me88 (Brictec B.V., named by Casino Guru, not by the operator) appears in the CGA enforcement register as revoked on 9 Jul 2026. The Anjouan validator queried for me88.com returned 'INVALID, NOT Licensed' on 30 Oct 2026 (it may need the operator's own seal link). Claimed but not found on any register. source source source source source source |
| Clone games | 10/20 | Could not inspect without an account. On 30 Oct 2026 the public slot pages on me88myelite.com showed navigation and banners only; no demo links or game-frame hosts were exposed. Providers advertised: Pragmatic Play, Spadegaming, NextSpin, JILI, Evolution, Playtech, SA Gaming. source source |
| Payout reports | 5/20 | Three unresolved reports of withheld winnings or locked accounts were found, none answered by the operator: 12 Sep 2026 (RM5,000 withheld after passport check, account closed) and 2 Jul 2026 (USD 3,975 voided, account closed) on Trustpilot's me88demand.com profile, and 26 Dec 2023 (USD 4,000 locked at withdrawal) on the me88-safes.com profile. Trustpilot has suppressed that profile's score for guideline breaches and removed fake reviews, so these reviews are unverified. Casino Guru shows one complaint (account locked after winnings) and a safety index of 8.1. Not on the Bank Negara Malaysia or SC Malaysia alert lists as at 30 Oct 2026. Repeated but unverified reports; no pay-a-fee-to-withdraw demand found. source source source source source |
| Trap terms | 8/15 | The operator's own terms pages load only with scripts, so we could not read them. From the promotions page and third-party sources: daily withdrawal cap about MYR 50,000; welcome bonuses up to 288% with turnover reported between 15x and 35x on deposit plus bonus (under 40x); the promotions page says winnings can be voided if a deadline or max-bet rule is breached, and the binding terms are only shown after login. Casino Guru flags clauses allowing confiscation for 'low-risk play' and 'betting techniques' during bonus wagering. No pay-a-fee-first clause found. source source source source |
| Website facts | 4/10 | me88.com was created on 9 Jul 2001, long before the brand (about 2019-2020), registrant hidden. No company name or address appears on any me88 site; the footer reads only 'Copyright me88'. Mirrors seen: me88my.com and me88site.com redirect to me88myelite.com; me88sgofficial.com redirects to me88journey.com; me88.asia blocked our request. Support is listed as 24/7 live chat, WhatsApp and email, but no number or address is shown on the site. source source source source source |
| Payment safety | 6/10 | No crypto addresses, bank account numbers or individual payees are visible on public pages. Methods advertised: Bitcoin, USDT, Ethereum, the Help2Pay and EeziePay bank-transfer gateways, FPX, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go, GrabPay and cards. Gateways like these usually assign a local bank account at deposit time; we could not see whose accounts are used without logging in. source source source |
| HotStakes test | 0/5 | Not tested by HotStakes. me88 is not listed in the HotStakes directory. |
